Make something beautiful

Join Fifth Petal Floral for a hands-on floral workshop. You'll work with fresh, seasonal blooms and leave with an arrangement you made yourself.
The Workshop Experience

A few hours, a lot of flowers, and something to show for it.

Each workshop is small by design — usually 10 to 20 people — so you get real guidance, not just a demo. We’ll walk you through the fundamentals of floral design: how to create structure in an arrangement, build without floral foam, and discuss floral design basics.

No experience needed. Just show up ready to make a living work of art.

What’s included

  • All fresh-cut blooms and foliage — grown on our farm, or on local flower farms.*
  • Your vessel to take home
  • All tools and supplies
  • Step-by-step instruction from Fifth Petal Floral owner, Kim Dazey
  • Light refreshments
  • A finished arrangement that’s yours to keep

*We occasionally source flowers regionally or nationally, but do our best to minimize our reliance on internationally-grown product.

How it works

Workshops run between one and one-and-a-half hours and are held at various partner locations. Seating is limited so that everyone gets personal attention. Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing your ticket, directions to the workshop, and additional details.

Your Host

Meet Kim Dazey

Kim has been growing flowers on this farm for 5 years, but it was the process of designing with them — cutting, combining, seeing what works — that became her real passion.

Her workshops come from a simple belief: that working with flowers is something anyone can do, and that the act of making something beautiful with your hands is genuinely good for your soul.

She keeps classes small, the instruction practical, and the whole thing relaxed. You’ll learn real technique, but you’ll also just have a great time.
